This second CD of American classics features Ernest Bloch’s Suite for Violin Solo which I perform frequently. This composition is influenced by Bach’s Solo Sonatas. Also included is the rarely played Nuit Exotique. Leon Stein was a good friend of mine and I am pleased to include his violin concerto to commemorate his 100th anniversary.
